  • 3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Ila's Food's Hurricane Rub & Seasoning to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth

For the Sauce:

  • 2 cups SGT. Hart’s BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
For Assembly:
  • 12-16 slider buns
  • Coleslaw (homemade or store-bought)
  • Pickles (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Season the Chicken: Sprinkle salt and pepper over the chicken breasts.

  2. Sauté the Veggies: In a large pot or slow cooker, sauté sliced onion and minced garlic until translucent.

  3. Cook the Chicken: Add the seasoned chicken breasts and chicken broth to the pot. Cover and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours in a slow cooker or 1-2 hours on the stovetop until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.

  4. Shred the Chicken: Once the chicken is cooked, shred it using two forks.

  5. Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, mix together SGT. Hart’s BBQ Sauce, apple cider vinegar.

  6. Mix and Heat: Add the shredded chicken back into the pot and pour the sauce mixture over it. Stir well and cook for an additional 20-30 minutes on low heat to allow the flavors to blend.

  7. Prep the Buns: While the chicken is simmering, lightly toast the slider buns.

  8. Assemble the Sliders: Scoop generous portions of the BBQ pulled chicken onto the bottom half of each slider bun. Top with coleslaw and pickles if you're feeling fancy.

  9. Serve and Celebrate: Place the top half of the bun on each slider and serve immediately. Voila! You've got a tray of mouthwatering BBQ Pulled Chicken Sliders that will be the hit of any gathering.
