SGT. Hart's BBQ Marinated Portobello Mushroom Burger Recipe

Ingredients:
- 4 Tbsp olive oil
- 4 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 0.5 tsp oregano
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- freshly cracked pepper
- 4 portobello mushroom caps (about 1/2 lb. total)
- 4 buns
- Optional toppings: sliced vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles
Instructions:

Marinate the Mushrooms: In a small bowl, stir together the olive oil, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and a little freshly cracked pepper (about 10 cranks of a pepper mill).

Cook the Mushrooms: Heat a grill or frying pan over medium heat. Remove the mushrooms from the marinade, gently pressing to adhere the pork rind mixture to each cap. Grill or fry each mushroom cap for about 5 minutes on each side, until tender and well-cooked.

Assemble the Burgers: Place each cooked mushroom on a burger bun, top with a generous amount of Que Queen’s Jammin’ Reduced Sugar BBQ Sauce, and add your chosen toppings such as vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles.
